Pledge Under God Petition

The Pledge of Allegiance to our flag is under attack by atheist Michael Newdow and the radical secularists on the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. Their attempt to remove any reference to God from the Pledge is an assault on the freedom of religious speech. Atheists are determined to banish the words "under God" from the Pledge, but Congressman Todd Akin has authored and other Congressmen sponsored, the Pledge Protection Act of 2009. The Congress will never even get the chance to vote on this legislation unless House Speaker Nancy Pelosi agrees to schedule a vote.

Please sign the online petition urging House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to do the right thing and schedule a vote for the Pledge Protection Act of 2009.

The Gates at The End of The Road

The Gates at The End of The Road

At the end of the road
The road of your life
There is a fork
Unlike before when you could just walk straight
There were other ways to go but they all end at the same place
There is no other direction to go in

On the right side is a beautiful gate of pearl
Light is a glow and even from this distance it looks promising
You can just faintly hear music and happiness going on.
But it is only opened to those that traveled the lighted path

To your left is another gat… Continue

The Light

For what use is light
When nothing is there to shine on
It waits idol for something

They live in the shadows
Fearing the light
Afraid to show themselves
What would they think of me
If I stood in the light

Then it spoke as I got close
In this light you shall see thy self
Come in to the light
Do not be afraid
I have been waiting for you

Well I have lived in the dark
Among the shadows far too long
He sounds sincere and loving

Slowly I walked to the light
As I… Continue

A reason for "Under God" to continue

While history shows us that "Under God" indeed is fairly new (added in June 1954) in the History of the United States of America, it was added after a time when America and its "Greatest Generation" had finished giving all they had to give: blood, sweat, tears and in over half a million cases, their precious lives during WW II. The addition of “Under God” was done quite publicly by President and former Supreme Allied Commander of Europe Dwight D Eisenhower with the support of Congress.

So why s… Continue
